About the Artist
Luna Chang (b. Singapore, 2001) is a multidisciplinary artist and arts manager working across image-based mediums and screens, exploring identity, power structures, (e)mortality, and biocultural anthropology. Their current practice encompasses care and agency through image-making mediums and histories, as well as experimental modes of presenting photography. They have previously exhibited locally at Art Outreach, DECK, Objectifs Centre, and in Hong Kong and London, and was a recipient of the Winston Oh Travelogue Award in 2024.
Luna is an MA Creative and Cultural Industries student at SOAS, and they hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (LASALLE College of the Arts, 2024) and a Diploma in Arts Business Management (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, 2021). Their interests lie in exhibition management, programming, and accessibility. They have brought their expertise to institutions such as the Singapore International Photography Festival, Singapore Art Museum, Gagosian, and the Singapore Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2024.
Outside of the art world, Luna enjoys rock climbing, specialty coffee and watching animated films.
